Just south of Præstø, Brorjords Have offers a peaceful retreat for those seeking a simple and close-to-nature overnight stay. Here you can settle into a spacious shelter surrounded by fragrant roses and medicinal herbs in a living, wild sensory garden.
Brorjords Have is located in Tjørnehoved, approximately 4 km from Præstø and only a few hundred metres from the CPH–Berlin cycle route. The garden is designed as a modern apothecary garden and plant nursery, rooted in permaculture, biodiversity, and respect for nature. As you explore the garden, you will encounter rare historic roses alongside native plants that attract insects, birds, and butterflies.
Watch the sun set over the open fields, feel the warmth of the crackling fire, and enjoy the quiet rhythm of rural life. Horses and chickens roam nearby, and the forest is just around the corner if your legs call for an evening walk.
The shelter is equipped with two comfortable mattresses, with the option to add made-up bedding and extra mattresses. The adjacent fire pit includes a grill grate and barbecue equipment, and fresh water as well as a composting toilet are available close by.
Whether you are passing through or looking for a pause from noise and haste, Brorjords Have offers an overnight stay where the senses are invited to slow down and nature sets the scene.

Guests bring their own sleeping gear (sleeping bag, sheet, etc.), unless bedding is added as an extra.
Prices
- Overnight stay in the shelter: 300 DKK per night
- Bedding (optional): 50 DKK per person
- Extra mattresses: 50 DKK per mattress
